El Palacio de la Autonomía es un museo y centro cultural ubicado en calle Lic. Primo De Verdad No. 2 esq. con Moneda, en el Centro Histórico de la Ciudad de México, perteneciente a la más grande casa de estudios de nuestro país, la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
Será en este bello recinto donde se llevará a cabo la treceava edición del CAFÉ & CHOCOLATE FEST, un festival cultural y gastronómico predilecto del mexicano y de los turistas que coinciden durante su visita al Templo Mayor y alrededores.
Participan 40 expositores, algunos de ellos, pequeños productores del sureste y centro del país.
En este festín de sabores, se puede probar desde la semilla de cacao y el grano de café, hasta los más deliciosos productos derivados de ellos y conocer su trasfondo cultural, ya que además de la degustación y venta, se ha diseñado un programa de actividades gratuitas que incluye catas, talleres para aprender a moler café ó elaborar chocolate, conferencias y charlas para conocer su origen y gestiones ancestrales que impactaron en el comercio y la economía de México y el mundo y para saber acerca de las propiedades que benefician no solo a la salud, sino al estado de ánimo e inclusive estéticamente. Para los más pequeños se tendrán actividades recreativas como el Teatro de Papel y Cuenta Cuentos.
Para quienes se quieran adentrar al mundo de los sentidos a través de un recorrido multisensorial para experimentar aromas, sabores, texturas, sonidos y movimientos que despierten su imaginación y detonen sensaciones y emociones gratificantes, todo con elementos de café, cacao y chocolate, habrá un espacio llamado Emociorama, el cual se podrá explorar con ojos cerrados con la guía de talleristas sensonautas.
Tengan en mente las fechas del sábado 12 y domingo 13 de febrero de 2022, para asistir de 11 a 20 horas, al CAFÉ & CHOCOLATE FEST, donde podrán consentir su paladar y conseguir el café de su preferencia, encontrando todas las categorías como arábigo, robusta, libérica y excelsa y variedades como gourmet u orgánico, molido ó en grano, descafeinado, americano ó espresso, bebidas calientes ó frías y tradicionales de nuestro México como el tascalate, chilate y pozol.
Para los amantes del chocolate, la lista es interminable: Chocolate oscuro, blanco, amargo, con sal, con chapulines y gusanos de maguey, elaborados con alto porcentaje de cacao, preparados artesanalmente con sorprendentes diseños que pareciera que son para coleccionar y con exóticos sabores y combinaciones como té verde con cacao en polvo, frambuesa, jamaica y cardamomo, con flores comestibles y especies, mole, queso azul, etc., trufas, enjambres, frutos frescos rellenos con quesos artesanales y malvaviscos cubiertos de chocolate, exquisitos dulces, mazapanes, alfajores, helados, pan artesanal, pasteles y por si fuera poco, también habrá disponibles cosméticos, jabones, cremas faciales y corporales a base de café y chocolate.
